Troubleshooting the Interpreter In-Ear Monitor

If the interpreter in-ear monitor system is not working, there are a few things that could be happening. Please check the following.

  1. Power: Check to make sure that the power cable is connected and the Listen Hardware box is on:
  2. XLR Connection: Check to make sure that the XLR is securely connected to the Listen Hardware box:
  3. Antenna: Make sure that the antenna is facing straight up (as shown in the above photo).
  4. Channel Selection: Make sure that the channel listed on the Listen Hardware box is the same as the channel shown on the interpreter’s in-ear pack (this will allow the in-ear pack to pick up the signal from the hardware box). If the channel needs to be adjusted, there are “Channel Selection” buttons underneath the channel screen
