Making Coffee

BREWING DIRECTIONS (approx. 20 minutes)
  • Make coffee by 8:00am for volunteers assisting at 9:00am service
  • Before making coffee, verify the coffee decanter is empty of old coffee and is clean (run water through it at the sink to verify)
  • Use the large size coffee filter
  • For full size (9am service): Add 4 ½ scoops of coffee (use the scoop inside the coffee container for measuring); press the FULL button; press the BREW button
  • The coffee machine will register how long it takes to brew (less than 5 minutes for a full size)
  • When the coffee is done brewing, remove and throw away the used filter
REFILLS
  • Monitor the coffee level; if needed make more coffee
  • For half size: Add 2 ¼ scoops of coffee (use the scoop inside the coffee container for measuring); press HALF button, press the BREW button
SUPPLIES
  • There is more coffee in the kitchen underneath the coffee maker and in the freezer, if we run out of coffee in one of the containers
